Here are the yearly kin sessions. I love these people so much. They would give the shirts off their backs for us and we would for them. (Figuratively-speaking, of course!)

Reagan is next - she is one of the most imaginative little girls I have EVER met.


Her sister, Londyn, AKA "Londy-Bird" is surely to become just as vivacious as she learns from Reagan.


Jarrod (Another one of Todd's cousins, and Lori's brother) and Lisa, high school sweethearts.




Chad and Jennifer are close family friends.


Connor and Charli who both appeared on Parenting Special Needs Online Magazine January of 2011.


Chad and Jennifer adopted their daughter Charlie when she was just a year and a half old. She has glaucoma and has an amazing prosthetic eye! You'd never know she's legally blind as she runs around just like any other child. Amazing little girl!




Tim, Kristy, and Caleb are almost family as well.




Tim was Todd, Daniel, Jarrod, Lori, and Wes's youth minister many years ago.

Val and Adam | Gadsden Engagement Photographer

I have known Adam for almost as long as I've known my husband. When I met Adam, he was an awkward scrawny 18-year-old. My how things have changed. Adam didn't compromise his standards and values in finding his future wife. I seldom knew him to date just for the sake of dating. And I was always
surprised he was still available into his mid to late 20's. What a catch this guy is. He has much in common with Todd. Loves his God above all. Highly values his family and friends and would do anything for them. One of his best friends has Aspergers - this alone commands my respect.

Enter Valerie via eHarmony. Valerie and Adam both took the plunge with eHarmony at the same time. God is everywhere, people, even on eHarmony! Val is a beautiful, kind, sweetheart, and like me, a Georgia Peach. I look forward to getting to know her better through the many years to come.

So in May, I'll be heading to their wedding in Georgia to photograph this momentous and memorable occasion. And I'm completely awed and honored. I never would have dreamed 14 years ago that I would be photographing Adam's wedding. I hope I don't rust my camera with tears of joy.



Sorry Adam, I know you don't like this one, but it's just so YOU. I can hear you giggling every time I look at it.

Meet Susan Joy, one of many Gadsden kin!





Susan Joy and her husband, Derek, are expecting their 3rd child any day now. She will be named after her Great Grandmother, Cora. What a great, unique, yet not difficult name! I'm all about easy names!

Cora's big brother and sis are getting anxious to meet her.















This is one b-utiful family!



I can hardly wait to take Cora's newborn photos in the next week or 2! I've really been getting my baby fix lately, so adding Cora to the mix is going to be such a joy!

A couple weeks ago Todd, the kids, and I went to Gadsden for a family get together. It was a cold day so everyone was trying to keep the kids in, but I sneaked out with Lori, Wes, and Josiah for his 2-year-old portraits.

He was FAST, but I managed to get a few photos of him when he found himself distracted by rocks, weeds, bark, and a dog.

I took these photos at my Mother-in-law's house a couple weeks ago. Palin was chasing Bella around and calling after her.
